Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her portrayals of public defender Christine Sullivan in NBCs sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABCs drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBSs sitcom Hearts Afire. Other than acting she has also worked on a number of game series. The daughter of scientist Richard F. Post and his wife poet Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her siblings. Las Lomas High School is where she went to school and was involved in cheerleading. After a brief stint at Pomona College, she graduated from Lewis & Clark College. Post was previously married to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross has been her husband, as well as co-writer since 1982.
